Kaiza Rea| Chapter President

Hello my name is Kaiza!  I work at AnywhereWorks as an HR Intern, and I am in my senior year for Human Resource Management with a Spanish Minor.  When I moved to Portland last fall to attend PSU, I was told about HRMA by a community member.  The association has helped me choose an HR specialty, network with professionals, and learn of available internships. I love how welcoming it is and the opportunity to have relevant presentations weekly.  When I am not studying, I collect fun facts, read, and play soccer.

Elizabeth Wood | Chapter Treasurer

Hello, my name is Elizabeth (Beth) Wood. I'm a junior majoring in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources and film studies minor. Portland State and HRMA have both given me many opportunities to learn from others and gain a better understanding of the respective industries that interest me. In addition to HRMA I am involved with several other student organizations, including Badminton Club and Lifting Club. When I get free time I enjoy working out, baking, and hanging out with my friends.

Tyler Sommers | Co-VP of Programs

Hello! My name is Tyler Sommer. I am a senior at Portland State University, pursuing a double major in Human Resource Management and Management in Leadership with a minor in film and International Business Certificate. This year I serve as the CO-VP of programming and VP of Internal Communication. Within this role this year, I hope to help students learn more about HR and help them get connected towards opportunities outside of the classroom. Outside of school, I am an avid record collector and binge watcher of Movies and TV Shows. Right now, I am obsessed with Conan Gray’s vinyl and love rewatching Schitt’s Creek. If you have questions about HRMA, don’t be afraid to send me an email me. I hope to see you soon at our next meeting!

Citlali Diaz | Co-VP of Programs & VP of Fundraising

Hello! My name is Lali Diaz and I am a senior at PSU obtaining a bachelor’s degree in human resource management. I had heard from a past member that joining the club is a great networking opportunity for any business student. After attending a few meetings, I realized the wealth of knowledge I could gain by listening in on HR professionals sharing their career experiences. I am excited to become a more active participant of PSU HRMA this year. When I am not in student mode, I am probably playing sports, spending time with family, or exploring new places to eat
